This is what I hope to be the first of many posts dedicated to sharing my personal life experiences as they happen. I want this website to be a place where I can put myself out into the world, make mistakes, and learn along the way. For those who take the time to read this very first post, I’m incredibly grateful.
Something I’m also quite curious to understand is the nature of Google and its search algorithms. I’ve reviewed a number of introductions to platforms such as Google Adwords and Google Adsense, but I’m still struggling to understand the meaning of ‘good SEO’. Any book recommendations will be accepted and most likely reviewed in a later blog post.
To gain greater understanding of Search Engine Optimization (known hereafter as SEO) I’ve decided to dive in and be active. I’m approaching this as a research activity above all else. I want to gain an understanding of what it takes to create an appealing digital brand on social media platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, Etsy, Tumblr, Yelp, and Ello. What does success look like on each of these platforms?
The only way to answer this question is to look at the data. Tracking results is very important, therefore I’ve already implemented analytics features into my social media and website components. I’ll go into more details in a later post, but in the meantime my goal is to break all conventional blogging conventions and begin focusing on building a stronger personal brand.
Another thing I’m curious to learn is the ability to influence human emotion through art and design. We already live in a world where the distinctions between art and technology are blurred
The purpose of this blog post is to test the efficacy of google keywords. This blog is a creative experiment to allow me to obtain greater understanding of what it means to build a personal brand.
I don’t know what this blog will become. It depends on a number of things I suppose, but let’s start with one post and move on from there!
